Chick-fil-A Making its Way to Michigan Come October

Regardless of how you might feel about the fast-food chain’s (now-redacted) controversial stance on certain political issues, it’s hard to deny that Chick-fil-A’s sandwiches are mighty tasty.

If you’ve been hankerin’ to get your hands on some of this southern, chicken-centric chain’s sandwiches but haven’t found one of the rare restaurants in Michigan, yet, you’re in luck. Come October 13, Chick-fil-A will be opening a couple new locations in MI.

One thing, though – if you’re planning on making Chick-fil-A a habit once new locations open up in Michigan, you should consider taking it as slow as possible. Otherwise, you’re going to have a hard time fitting into any of your cool t-shirts.

 

Die-hard fans of the fried chicken sammies, nuggets, waffle fries, and breakfast biscuits already know that there are two semi-secret outposts in the Mitten State already – one at Oakland University and the other at McNamara terminal at DTW.

But unless you manage to catch the limited hours at the university location (not to mention, find a reason to be on campus) or have booked your travel specifically around flying out of the right terminal, chances are slim that you’ve been able to enjoy this Southern classic.

That will change though come Oct. 13 when Michigan welcomes not one but two new locations. Metro Detroit will get one inside the mall at Somerset Collection in Troy, while the state’s first stand-alone store will be located at 5617 W. Saginaw Highway in Lansing. Continue Reading
