To be honest, you don’t need any reason just to go to Denver, just do it! The Red Rocks Amphitheater, gentle winter months, and lots of sun shines throughout the year are some of the best reason why you should visit Denver. But Denver goes beyond that, the location itself – placed along the Rocky Mountains and within an arm’s length of South Platte River is the best reason to see this ‘Mile High’ city.

Here are some reasons to visit Denver

Explore the Many Beautiful Parks of Denver

Not only Denver is one of the most walkable towns in the US, it consistently ranks to have the most beautiful parks as well. The local government maintains several parks that traverse throughout downtown and its surrounding areas. It offers great views that urban dwellers enjoy and so fond out despite the hustle and bustle of city life.

Tourist can rent a bicycle and hop on an adventure exploring the Cherry Creek Trail that goes well into the heart of downtown Denver. Or ride right into Confluence Park and see the magnificent South Platter River. Along these parks, picnic areas, lots of playgrounds and sporting fields. The Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science aren’t that far.

Their Incomparable Craft Beer Mania

Denverites really love their craft beers; with a thriving beer culture, it houses more than 300 breweries. Denver has some famous and unique blends in every corner; it has the second highest number of breweries in the country. Denver has a wide variety of taverns, microbreweries, and brewpubs all within a walking distance from each other. Tourists often joked about going into a ‘beer pilgrimage’ when visiting Denver. Careful though, Denver did not earn the “Mile High City” for nothing, the city literally sits high up about 5,280 feet above sea level to be precise. And with its altitude remember this- you get drunk faster.

The scene really comes alive during fall when the city celebrates The Great American Beer Festival, the largest beer festival in the country. Some 800 breweries join the festivities and thousands of people consume several thousand beers. Because of the high demand to search for the best-tasting beer, the local government put up the Denver Beer Trail for everyone to follow.

Once you give their craft beers a try, you’ll see why we came up with our CO Home Brew hoodie – it’s a perfect fit for anyone who loves both local beers and Colorado.
